Airbag system
Self-diagnosis
Diagnostics is performed in one of two modes: user and diagnostic.
Switching between modes is carried out using the ignition key and the driver's door switch.
Note:
If the pilot lamp does not flash in user mode (no faults), it is not necessary to enter diagnostic mode by manipulating the door switch.
If no faults are found in the system in diagnostic mode, return to user mode by turning the ignition key from OFF to ON.

Note: Fault indication (flashing) continues until you clear the memory. However, flashing may start when the battery voltage drops below 9V. The indication returns to normal when the battery voltage rises above 9V.
Diagnostic mode
Note: When the repair is completed, check if the memory has been cleared and if the indication returns to normal after the ignition key is turned to the ON position.

Erasing self-diagnosis results
After correcting the problem, turn the ignition key once to the OFF position, then to the ON position. Diagnostic mode switches to user mode. This will erase the results of the self-diagnosis.

Upon completion of the repair, the flashing of the control lamp stops.
After the seat belt pretensioner is deployed, the warning lamp comes on and stays on.
