Preparatory work
Remove the engine protection from the bottom.
Drain the coolant.
Remove the radiator fans as an assembly.
Remove the water inlet pipe.
Removal and installation the catalytic converter
Removal
Attention: Do not disassemble the catalyst.
Installation
Do not confuse the locking pins that prevent the catalytic converter from turning left and right with the insulator mounting bolts.
- Catalytic converter anti-rotation pins: flange bolts (black color).
- Insulator mounting bolts: bolts with washer (silver or yellow).
Installing the corner mount of the catalyst
Press the angle bracket against the oil pan and catalytic converter, screw in and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque.
