Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Lift the lid.
3. Remove the inner cover panel by releasing the latches.
4. Disconnect the connector and pull the connector and wiring out of the cover, tying it with the cord and removing the seal. Leave the cord in the cover.
5. Mark the position of the hinges relative to the lid.
6. While supporting the cover, unscrew the bolts and remove the cover
Installation
1. Install the lid with the help of two people, tighten the hinge bolts, align them with the marks and tighten the bolts.
2. Run the wire through the lid, tying it to the cord.
3. Adjust the lid.
Adjustment
1. Close the lid and check the gaps with the adjacent body panels. If necessary, loosen the hinge bolts and adjust the position of the lid, tighten the bolts.
