Removal
1. Open the hood, mark the position of the hinges on the hood.
2. Release the windshield washer hose from the clamps by disconnecting it from the fitting.
3. Loosen the mounting bolts to the hinges and, with the help of an assistant, remove the hood.
4. Check the play of the axles in the hinges, if necessary, unscrew the two bolts and replace the hinges.
Installation
1. Install the hood, align it with the marks on the hinges and tighten the bolts.
2. Attach the hose and place it in the brackets.

Adjustment
1. Close the hood and check the gaps with the adjacent body panels. If necessary, loosen the hinge bolts and adjust the position of the hood, tighten the bolts.

2. After adjusting the hood, check the operation of the lock and adjust. The lock latch should operate when the hood is below the edge of the wing by 1.0-1.5 mm. Loosen the lock bolts, adjust the position and tighten the bolts.
