2. Raise the rear of the vehicle and remove the wheels.
3. If the rear brakes are disc brakes, make sure that when you release the pedal and brake lever, the caliper lever rests against the stop.
4. Remove the center section of the front panel.
5. Determine the number of clicks of the lever until you feel resistance.

6. Adjust the lever stroke by turning the nut (see subsection 11.1).
7. Make sure that the rear wheels are locked when the brake is applied and that they rotate freely when the brake is released.
8. Check that the indicator lamp lights up after the brake is applied. If necessary, adjust the switch (see subsection 11.18).
9. Install the front panel section and lower the vehicle.
10. Before leaving, check the operation of the handbrake.
