Front suspension
Consists of levers, struts, stabilizer and crossbar. The crossbar is attached to the body with bolts.
The levers are connected to the journals by ball joints.
Rear suspension
MacPherson type. The struts are attached to the body cups and to the trunnions. At the bottom, the suspension arms and longitudinal rods are attached to the trunnions. The stabilizer is attached to the body on brackets and connected to the struts by rods.
Steering
The steering shaft is single-section, located in the steering column, secured with bolts to the engine compartment bulkhead. The shaft is connected to the steering mechanism via a cardan joint. The steering mechanism is mounted on the engine compartment bulkhead, connected to the journals via steering rods and tips.
Since 1994, cars have been equipped with airbags mounted in the center of the steering wheel. The airbags are deployed in the event of an accident. The command to deploy is given by the processor unit, which receives information from the corresponding sensors. The airbags are checked only by a Nissan service center.
