Carburetor engine
1. Loosen the nut and screw of the air filter cover, disconnect the latches.
2. Remove the cover and turn it over to access the PCV filter, which is secured with screws from the inside.

3. Loosen the screws and remove the filter assembly. Remove the filter element from the housing.
4. Install the new filter element and screw it onto the air filter cover.
5. Install the air filter cover.
Injector engine
1. Disconnect the latches and remove the air filter cover.

2. Remove the air filter element to gain access to the crankcase ventilation filter.
3. Remove the crankcase ventilation filter and wipe the mounting area clean.
4. Install a new crankcase ventilation filter and air filter element.
5. Place the cover on the body and secure with latches.
