1. Remove the nut(s) and bolt securing the air filter cover (indicated by arrows).
2. Pull the air cleaner cover spring clips to the sides.
3. Remove the air filter cover (in the photo - the air filter cover of the injection engine). To remove the filter cover, you may need to disconnect the air duct housing from the cover.

4. Remove the filter element, paying attention to its initial orientation in the filter housing (photo on the left – removing the filter element on carburetor engines, photo on the right – on injection engines).
5. Wipe the inside of the filter housing dry with a clean cloth to remove all traces of dirt.
6. Insert the new filter element, first orienting it correctly and ensuring that it is installed correctly in the filter housing.
7. Install the air cleaner cover and secure with the spring clips. Tighten the nut and bolt.
