All vehicles are equipped with 3-point seat belts. The front and rear seat belts are equipped with an inertial reel, the middle rear seat is equipped with a static type body belt (without inertial coil) with two-point attachment.
1. Check for signs of belt fraying and other defects. Also check the operation of the locks and belt tensioners, the tightening of the belt fastening bolts to the body. Keep in mind that all bolts have collars for buckle eyes, which allow freedom of rotation of the belt buckles at all attachment points to the body. It is forbidden to lubricate the tongues of the belts.
2. If any signs of damage are found, or if the condition of the belt is in doubt, the belt assembly with locks and buckles should be replaced.
3. If the car has been in an accident, then all belts that have been subjected to stress should be replaced without fail.
4. Belts should be cleaned only with a soapy solution that does not affect the material of the belts. Do not use solvents, strong detergents, dyes or bleaches for cleaning. Dry the belts only in natural conditions fully extended.
