Important! The auxiliary air injection valve is not sold separately. If the valve is faulty, the entire idle air control unit must be replaced. This unit is attached to the intake manifold and includes the auxiliary air injection valve, idle speed increase solenoid valve, and idle speed adjusting screw.
The additional air supply valve is located on the right side of the intake manifold.
Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery cable.
Removal
1. Disconnect the connection connector from the solenoid valve.
2. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the valve from the intake manifold along with the plunger and spring.
3. Check the valve plunger and spring for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the correct installation of the plunger and spring.
