When the damper is fully open (kick-down)
Kick-down cable adjustment

Adjustment
1. Check throttle cable adjustment.
2. Press the latch spring and move the cable sheath to the limit towards the bracket.
3. Release the latch.
4. Put a mark on the rope.
5. Measure the length of kick-down travel (L), to do this, attach a ruler to the cable next to the marked mark and quickly move the throttle cam so that the damper is fully open. The distance of movement of the label L should be 40–42 mm.
6. If necessary, adjust the cable, for which press the latch, rearrange the shell and repeat the necessary steps.
7. Make sure that the cable travel is within the normal range.
Removal and installation
It is performed in a car service, as it requires disassembly of the transmission.
