Clutch — General Information (Nissan Sunny B13)

The clutch consists of a slave (friction) disk, clutch housing with pressure plate and diaphragm spring and clutch release mechanism. The friction disk consists of two annular friction linings, which are riveted to the hub with damper springs. The diaphragm spring is rigidly riveted along the periphery to the clutch housing through support rings, relative to which the diaphragm of the spring can bend. As the friction linings wear out, it is necessary to adjust the clutch drive cable.
