Adjustment comes down to checking and setting the height and free travel of the pedal.
1. After removing the floor mat in the driver's footwell area, measure the distance from the floor of the vehicle to the pedal.
2. If you are measuring the distance to the rug, add the thickness of the rug to the result.
3. If the distance differs from the standard, then unscrew the lock nut of the adjusting bolt (or clutch release sensor) and rotate the bolt (or sensor) until the desired distance is obtained.
4. After adjustment, tighten the nut to the specified torque.
5. To expand the space, remove the lower front panel.
6. Check the pedal free play.
7. Press the pedal with your finger and measure the distance until you feel a slight resistance to movement.

8. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the cable lock nut on the clutch release fork lever (working inside the engine compartment) and by turning the knurled nut, adjust the lever stroke to the norm (2.5–3.5 mm).
9. Check the pedal free play again and tighten the lock nut.
10. Install all removed parts.
