Windshield wiper motor and rod installation components
1 - Electric motor; 2, 4 - Thrust; 3 - Frame; 5 - Tip; 6 - Seal
1. Remove the windshield wiper arms (see section Removal and installation windshield wiper arms).
2. Remove the windshield fairing (see Chapter Body).
3. Disconnect the electric motor connector and remove the wiper seals.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the electric motor assembly and remove the nuts securing the tips.
5. Remove the electric motor assembly from the vehicle, then disconnect the rods from the frame and from the electric motor arms.
6. Remove the screws and remove the electric motor from the frame.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the fasteners with the required force.
