Checking the ignition timing (Nissan Micra K12)

1. Move the ignition coil wiring cover of the 1st cylinder.

2. Connect the strobe light to the wiring as shown in the illustration.

3. Check the ignition timing using the indicator and marks on the crankshaft pulley.

Marks for checking ignition timing (1.0 and 1.2 l engines with manual transmission)

B — Marks for checking ignition timing (1.2 l engines with manual transmission and 1.4 l)
