Disassembly
1. Place the mirror housing with the glass facing up.
2. Apply a strip of protective tape (B) to the mirror housing.
3. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver (A) into the concave gap between the mirror base (mirror holder) (1) and the mirror holder bracket (2) as shown in the figure, press the two latches (3) and remove the lower half of the mirror holder.

Note: To make the job easier, insert the screwdriver into the concave gap and press while rotating it.
Note: When pressing the latches, try to grab not 1, but 2 latches on the concave section.
4. Disconnect the two terminals from the mirror heating element.
5. Slightly lift the bottom side off the mirror surface and release the two latches on the top side by pulling the bottom side. Remove the mirror from the housing.

Note: Do not allow grease or sealant to enter the center of the mirror housing assembly (drive) or the back side of the mirror surface (mirror holder).
6. Remove the cover.

Assembly
Assembly is performed in the reverse order of disassembly.
Attention:
- Engage the two top latches on the mirror surface with the drive, then press down on the bottom of the mirror glass until it snaps into place.
- After installation, perform a visual inspection to ensure that the lower latches are securely engaged on the bottom surface of the mirror.
