Removal and installation (on models with CR engine)
Removal
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Unscrew the starter mounting bolt from the top side.
3. Disconnect terminals "S" and "B" from the starter.
4. Unscrew the starter mounting bolt from the bottom.
5. Remove the starter from the bottom of the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Removal and installation (on models with HR engine)
1. Cylinder block; 2. Terminal harness "B"; 3. Harness terminal "S"; 4. Starter
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the air duct (intake). See chapter Mechanical part of the engine.
3. Remove the tank. See chapter Lubrication system and engine cooling system.
4. Disconnect terminal "S".
5. Unscrew the nut of terminal "B".
6. Loosen the starter mounting bolts.
7. Remove the starter from the vehicle in an upward direction.

Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: Tighten the terminal "B" nut with care.
