To avoid errors when refueling vehicle units and systems, strictly follow the instructions set out in the section «Maintenance and do-it-yourself operations».
*1: For oil viscosity requirements, see paragraph «Recommendations for choosing engine oil viscosity»
*2: Use only Genuine NISSAN Genuine Fluid (L250). The use of non-genuine coolant can lead to corrosion of aluminum parts of the engine cooling system. Consult your NISSAN dealer for advice.
*3: Contact your NISSAN dealer for more details on the applicability of DYEXRON™ III/MERCON™ automatic transmission fluids made by various manufacturers.
*4: Please contact your NISSAN dealer for more details.

Gasoline engines
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 95 (research method)
Caution: Do not use leaded gasoline. The use of leaded gasoline will damage the catalytic converter.
Recommendations for choosing engine oil viscosity
Gasoline engines
The preferred viscosity is 5W-30. If it is not possible to purchase this oil, use the diagram to select an oil of suitable viscosity (at a given air temperature).
Prevailing ambient temperatures in the period until the next engine oil change.

Refrigerant and oil for air conditioning system
The air conditioning system on your vehicle must be charged with HFCA134a refrigerant (RA134a) and butter brand «NISSAN A/C System Oil Type R» (CR14DE or HR16DE engines). Using a different refrigerant or oil will cause serious damage to the air conditioning system and will require a complete replacement of the system.
