Disassembly and assembly of the steering column (Nissan Almera N15)

When disassembling and assembling, unlock the steering shaft with a key.

Install the lock nut onto the steering shaft and tighten it to the specified torque.

• Tightening torque: 25-34 Nm

To remove the steering shaft lock, drill out the shear bolts.



Tighten new bolts until the head breaks off.
