Checking the brake fluid level
If the fluid level is too low, check the brake system for leaks.
Checking the brake system
Check the brake hoses and pipes, as well as the parking brake cables. They should be securely connected (fixed), have no leaks, cracks, damage, signs of destruction and abrasion, as well as traces of corrosion.
Replacing brake fluid
1. Drain the old brake fluid through each of the bleed valves.
2. Fill with new fluid until it starts to come out of each valve. For more information, see Chapter "Brake system".
- Use only the recommended fluid (see section "Recommended lubricants and operating fluids").
- Never reuse drained fluid.
Check vacuum hoses, connections and check valve for leaks and damage.
