Checking the brake fluid level
If the fluid level is too low, check the brake system for leaks.
Checking the brake system
Check the brake hoses and pipes, as well as the parking brake cables. They must be securely attached (fixed), be free from leaks, cracks, damage, signs of deterioration and abrasion, and signs of corrosion.
Brake Fluid Replacement
1. Drain the old brake fluid through each of the bleed valves.
2. Top up with new fluid until it starts to come out of each valve. For more information, see chapter «Brake system».
- Use only recommended fluid (see section «Recommended Lubricants and Fluids»).
- Never reuse drained fluid.
Check vacuum hoses, connections and non-return valve for leaks and damage.
