Checking the oil level in a manual transmission (Nissan Almera N15)

Check for oil leaks from the gearbox. Remove the speed sensor gear and measure the oil level (L) from the rear side using a suitable rod.



Normal oil level (l value), mm:

• RS5F30A: 58-66
• RS5F31A:
• gA engines: 57-66
• engine CD: 54-61
• RS5F32A: 39-44

Changing the oil in a manual transmission

1. Drain the oil through the drain hole and fill the gearbox with new transmission oil. Filling volumes and recommended oil grades are given in the section "Recommended lubricants and operating fluids".



2. Check the oil level.
