Crankcase ventilation system (Nissan Almera N15)

The crankcase gases are sucked into the intake pipe through the hole in the cylinder head cover after the oil is separated by a partition. In the CD20E engine, a crankcase ventilation valve is additionally installed on the cylinder head cover.



Check the system hoses for patency and leaks. Blow out the hoses with compressed air. Check if the crankcase ventilation valve is clogged (cD20E engine).
