Cylinder head — disassembly (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. To disassemble the cylinder head, it is necessary to remove all valves and valve train parts. The description assumes that the camshafts and shafts with rocker arms have already been removed (See Part A).

2. All valves with parts should be sorted separately so that they can be installed in their original places during assembly (photo).



3. Compress the first valve spring with the tool and remove the crackers (photo). Carefully release the valve spring, remove the springs, plate and support washer, remove the caps from the bushings.



4. Remove the remaining valves.

5. After removing the valves and sorting them, thoroughly clean the cylinder head and check its condition.
