Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Note.
- Correctly align the contact plate when installing the steering wheel. Make sure that the alignment mark of the contact disk and the center mark (IN) coincide and are in a neutral position.
- The neutral position is determined by turning to the left 2.5 turns from the extreme right position, ending with the dowel pin (A) above.
- Set the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position of the car, then install its hole (WITH) directly on the locating pin of the contact disk.
- After completion of the work, perform the procedure emaqdattroerak to identify possible failures in the system.
Note. Fix the wires of the airbag module with a special hook.
Attention.
- Be careful not to damage the wires during installation.
- If the airbag malfunction indicator on the instrument panel lights up, it is necessary to erase the fault codes from the memory of the self-diagnosis system using the CONSULT-UI device. If the indicator is still on, perform a system self-diagnosis procedure to identify the problem.
