Removing
Flywheel - vehicles with manual transmission
1. Remove the gearbox, then remove the clutch assembly.
2. Secure the flywheel against turning by the ring gear using the tool (indicated by an arrow). For fixing, you can also use the corner, which rests against the tooth of the flywheel crown and is bolted to the hole in the cylinder block.
3. Loosen and remove the flywheel bolts. Take care not to drop the flywheel as this part is heavy.
4. If necessary, remove the overlay from the cylinder block, having previously marked its orientation. When loosening the plate set pins, remove the pins and store with the trim.

5. Remove transmission.
6. Lock the drive (see item 2).
7. Turn away bolts of fastening of a leading disk, remove a restrictive disk plate.
8. Remove the clutch installed between the drive disc and the crankshaft.
9. If necessary, remove the overlay from the cylinder block, having previously marked the orientation of the overlay. When loosening the plate set pins, remove the pins and store with the trim.
Status check
1. On vehicles with a manual transmission, check the presence of deep grooves on the surface of the clutch disc to the flywheel, check for chips and wear on the teeth of the flywheel crown. If cracks, traces of deep wear and other damage are found on the working surface, the flywheel should be replaced. However, the damaged surface can be sanded, but for this you need to consult a Nissan car service, or a specialist.
2. On vehicles with automatic transmission, carefully check for signs of deformation of the torque converter drive plate, also check for thin cracks starting at the bolt holes, or cracks radiating from the center to the periphery. Check the crown teeth for chips and signs of wear. If any signs of wear or damage are found, replace the drive disc.
Installation
Flywheel - vehicles with manual transmission
1. Install the pins on the cylinder block (if filmed) and overlay.
2. Clean the contact surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft.
3. Install the flywheel and tighten the bolts.
4. Fix the flywheel in the manner described above and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
5. Install the clutch assembly. Remove the flywheel locking tool and install the gearbox.
