Removal
Attention.
- Before starting work, turn off the ignition, disconnect both battery terminals and wait at least three minutes.
- Do not use pneumatic or electric powered tools.
1. Remove the ceiling panel.
2. Disconnect the curtain airbag connector.
Note.
- To install/remove the airbag module connector, insert the tip of a thin screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape into the slot, lift the retainer and remove the connector.
- Install the connector with the lock raised, then press the lock into the connector. Make sure the connector is securely installed.

3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the curtain airbag module.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
