Attention.
- Before starting work, turn off the ignition, disconnect both battery terminals and wait at least three minutes.
- Do not use pneumatic or electric tools.
Removing
Front impact sensor
1. Loosen the nuts securing the front shock sensor.
2. Disconnect the wire connector and remove the front shock sensor (1).
Note. : replace the part with a new one after each removal.
Attention.
- If the shock sensor has been dropped or hit, it must be replaced with a new one.
- Do not reuse sensor fastening nuts, always replace them with new ones.
Side impact sensor
1. Remove the front seat belt.
2. Loosen the side impact sensor fastening nuts.
3. Disconnect the wire connector and remove the side impact sensor (1).
Note. : replace the part with a new one after each removal.

- If the shock sensor has been dropped or hit, it must be replaced with a new one.
- Do not reuse sensor fastening nuts, always replace them with new ones.
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Attention.
- Be careful not to damage the wires during installation.
- If the airbag malfunction indicator lights up on the dashboard, it is necessary to erase the fault codes from the memory of the self-diagnosis system using the CONSULT-III device. If the indicator is still on, perform a system self-diagnosis procedure to troubleshoot.
