Removal
1. Raise the vehicle and remove the wheels.
2. Remove the hood grille cover. See chapter Body.
3. Remove the ABS wheel sensor wiring harness from the strut. See chapter Brake system.
4. Remove the locking plate from the brake hose. See chapter Brake system.
5. Remove the stabilizer connecting rod.
6. Unscrew the bolts and nuts securing the steering knuckle to the strut.
7. Unscrew the bolts on top of the rack and remove the rack from the car.
Installation
For tightening torques, see section "Front suspension assembly". Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the letter marking on the strut mount insulator faces the front of the vehicle. Then install the strut.
