Note.
- When removing and installing components of the exhaust system, it is recommended to be guided by the general drawings below.
- To remove the heated oxygen sensor 2, use a special wrench (KV10114400) (A).
Attention.
- When reassembling, always replace the exhaust gaskets with new ones.
- Do not use any heated oxygen sensor 2 that has been dropped from a height of more than 0.5 m onto a hard surface. Replace it with a new one.
- Before installing a new heated oxygen sensor 2, repair the threads using a special tool with anti-seize lubricant applied to it.
- Do not overtighten the heated oxygen sensor 2 as this may damage it.
- In each connection, remove deposits from the mating surfaces. Securely connect the joints to prevent the breakthrough of exhaust gases to the outside.
- Temporarily tighten the stud nuts on the exhaust side and the mounting bolts on the vehicle side. Before final tightening of the nuts, make sure that the elements of the exhaust system do not touch the surrounding parts.
- Install elastic elements so that they retain their shape, are not twisted, too much compressed or stretched.
