1. Drain the coolant from the engine.
Caution: Perform this step only on a cold engine.
2. Remove the catalytic converter.
3. Remove the turbocharger.
4. Remove the air filter housing.
5. Remove the rear EGR pipe from the exhaust manifold.
6. Unscrew the fastening nuts from the edges to the center and remove the exhaust manifold with spacers.
7. Remove the gasket.
Caution: Cover engine openings to prevent foreign material from entering.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Install the gasket on the cylinder head as shown in the figure.

Note: Arrow points to the front of the engine.
Install the exhaust manifold and tighten the mounting nuts in two steps in the sequence shown in the figure.
First approach: 18.0 Nm.
Second approach: 30.0 Nm.
Check after removal
Using a straightedge and a set of flat feeler gauges, check the deformation of the contact surface of the exhaust manifold. If the obtained value exceeds the norm, replace the exhaust manifold with a new one.
Post-installation check
Start the engine and run it at high speed to check for exhaust leaks.
