Check availability
Check for any signs of oil leakage from or around the final drive assembly.
Checking the oil level
1. Remove the filler plug (1) and check the oil level as shown in the figure.
Caution: Do not start the engine while checking the oil level in the rear final drive.
2. Install a new gasket on the filler plug and insert it into the final drive housing.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
Oil drain
1. Stop the engine.
2. Remove the drain plug (1) and drain the transmission oil.
3. Install a new gasket on the drain plug, then insert it into the final drive housing and tighten to 35 N·m.

Oil filling
1. Remove the filler plug (1). Fill with fresh transmission oil until it starts to flow out of the filler hole (the level should correspond to the lower edge of the filling hole).
2. After filling the oil, check its level. Install a new gasket on the filler plug, then insert it into the main gear housing assembly.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
