Disassembly
1. Models with active suspension: Remove the drive bushing from the shock absorber.
Wrap the bushing in cloth and secure it in a vice.
Caution: Do not damage the bushing when clamping it in a vice.
Loosen the drive bushing mounting nut and remove the bushing from the shock absorber.
2. Wrap the bottom of the shock absorber with cloth and secure it in a vice.
Caution: Do not clamp the shock absorber body in a vice.
3. Unscrew the piston rod lock nut, remove the washer, upper bushing, bracket, spacer, lower bushing, bump stop cover and bump stop from the shock absorber.
Examination
Check the piston rod for cracks, deformation, cracks or other damage. Replace if necessary.
Assembly
Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the drive sleeve is positioned as shown in the figure.

After installing the shock absorber on the car, apply silicone grease (8090 or similar) on the surface of the bracket and body panel.
