Connecting rod bolt outer diameter (Nissan Serena C24)

Tighten the nut by hand and make sure that the nut freely reaches the end of the connecting rod bolt threads.

If the nut does not tighten, measure the diameter of the bolt at the area shown in the figure.



If a more worn area is found, measure the diameter in that area.

• Standard diameter: 8.90-9.00 mm
• Maximum diameter: 8.75 mm

If the diameter is less than the limit, replace the bolt and nut.
