Checking the control lamp
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
The control glow lamp should light up for a time depending on the temperature of the coolant.
Checking the preheating time
Check the voltage at terminal #111 of the ECCS after turning the ignition key to the ON position.
- On a cold engine (at cool temperature liquids below 75°C): 0.15V after turning the ignition key to the ON position for approx. 20 sec, then battery voltage
- On a warm engine (at cool temperature liquid above 75°С): battery voltage
Check after turning the ignition key to the START position
Check the voltage at terminal No. 111 of the ECCS unit after turning the ignition key to the START position.
- On a cold engine (at cool temperature liquid below 75°С): 0,15V
- On a warm engine (at cool temperature liquid below 75°С): battery voltage
Checking after preheating
Check the voltage at terminal #111 of the ECCS after starting the engine.
- On a cold engine (at cool temperature liquid below 50°С): 0.15V after starting the engine for approx. 300 sec, then battery voltage
- On a warm engine (at cool temperature liquid above 70°С): battery voltage.
