Attention! This description does not apply to vehicles with an airbag.
Removing
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Set the wheels to the straight ahead position.
3. On a 2-spoke wheel, remove the center trim, remove the horn panel by disengaging the latches with a screwdriver inserted between the wheel and panel.
4. On a 3-spoke wheel, undo the clamp with a screwdriver inserted into the recess in the lower spoke.
5. Carefully pry the center trim from the bottom edge, disconnect the remaining latches and remove the trim.
6. On a 4-spoke wheel, loosen the screws at the base of the hub and remove the trim.
7. Disconnect the horn wires.
8. Loosen the wire bracket screw (on car parts).
9. Mark the position of the wheel on the shaft (the arrow indicates the position mark of the steering wheel on the shaft).
10. Loosen the nut.
11. Remove the wheel from the splines of the shaft by turning it to the sides and pulling it towards you, or with a puller.
Installation
1. Lubricate the surfaces of the parts of the automatic turn signal switch and the contact ring of the horn.
2. The steering wheel is installed in the reverse order.
3. First make sure that the circuit breaker is in the middle position, otherwise the turn switch may be damaged.
4. If necessary, install the wheel so that the spokes are symmetrical with respect to the vehicle.
