Elements of the power system
1. Hand brake; 2. Fuel filter; 3. Drain valve; 4. injection pump; 5. Bypass valve; 6. Plug-in connection for the fuel cut-off valve; 7. Cold start system; 8. Fuel return control valve; 9. Damper; 10. Pipeline
The fuel system includes: fuel tank, fuel lines, high pressure fuel pump (injection pump) with injectors and fuel filter. The current fuel supply is displayed on the fuel gauge. The fuel tank is equipped with a ventilation system. If the fuel tank is empty, air must be bled from the fuel system.
Attention! To check if the starter is difficult to see if fuel is supplied to the injection valves, loosen the cap nuts on the two valves and start the engine without preheating until fuel comes out on the cap nuts. Tighten the union nuts and start the engine as instructed.
1. If the fuel does not give in, it is necessary to remove air from the system in the following way.
2. Fill the injection pump with diesel fuel.
3. Fill the fuel filter with fuel.
4. Tow the vehicle.
5. Thanks to these measures, rapid removal of air from the system is achieved.
6. When working with the power system, observe the rules of cleanliness.
7. Also, make sure that diesel fuel does not flow through the coolant hoses.
8. If necessary, the hoses must be cleaned immediately.
9. Corroded hoses should be replaced.
