Left hand drive

Right hand drive

Removal
1. Turn on the windshield wiper motor and then turn it off in the auto-stop position.
2. Remove the wiper arms. See section "Removal".
3. Remove the hood grille cover. See chapter Body.
4. Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor and remove the connector clamps.
5. Remove the windshield wiper drive assembly mounting bolts (A) and remove the drive assembly (1) from the vehicle.
Installation
1. Install the windshield wiper drive assembly onto the vehicle.
Windscreen wiper drive assembly mounting bolts: Tightening torque: 4.5 N·m (0.46 kg·m).
2. Connect the connector to the wiper motor. Turn on the motor with the wiper switch and then turn it off (auto stop).
3. Place the connector clamps on the wiper frame and install the hood grille cover. See Chapter Body.
4. Install the wiper arms. See section "Installation".
5. Adjust the stop position of the wiper arms.
6. Place the caps on the wiper arms.
