Standard voltage values at the contacts of the ECM
Preparing for measurements
1. The ECM is located on the left side of the engine compartment.
2. Remove the protective trim from the ECM wiring harness.
3. When disconnecting the connector from the ECM, use the levers to loosen the connector as shown.
4. Connect the breakout box (special tool) and Y-cable adapter (special tool) between the ECM and the ECM connector.
Do not touch 2 contacts at the same time.
This data is for comparison only and may not be accurate.
ECM check table
Data given are standard values and measured between each contact and ground. Pulse signals were measured using the CONSULT-II tester.
Caution: Do not use the ECM's ground terminals when measuring input/output voltage. This may damage the ECM transistor. Use a different ground from the ECM terminals eg ground.
★: Average voltage for pulse signal (the actual pulse signal can be checked on an oscilloscope).
