2. Set the engine to idle mode, move the selector lever to the "Park" position.
Attention! After driving in difficult conditions, the level is checked at least 30 minutes after stopping the car. The engine should be idling.
3. With the transmission warmed up, remove the dipstick from the dipstick tube. The dipstick is located at the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side (photo).
4. Check the temperature by touch and wipe the dipstick dry. Insert the dipstick back into place until it stops in the pipe.
5. Remove the dipstick and determine the level.
6. At a liquid temperature of 30 - 50°C the level should be between the "cold" marks, and at a temperature of 50 -80°C - between the "hot" marks (photo).

If necessary, add fluid through the measuring pipe, inserting a funnel with a thin metal mesh. The fluid should be added in portions until the level is between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick for the corresponding temperature range. If the fluid is dark in color or emits a burnt smell, it should be replaced.
