2. Move the engine to idle mode, put the selector lever in position "Park".
Attention! After a trip in difficult conditions, the level is checked at least 30 minutes after the car has stopped. The engine must be running at idle.
3. On a warm transmission, remove the dipstick from the gauge pipe. The dipstick is located at the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side (photo).
4. Feel the temperature and wipe the dipstick dry. Insert the dipstick into place until it stops in the nozzle.
5. Remove the dipstick and check the level.
6. At a liquid temperature of 30 - 50°C, the level should be between the marks "cold", and at a temperature of 50 -80°C - between the marks "hot" (photo).

If necessary, add liquid through the meter nozzle by inserting a funnel with a fine metal mesh. Add liquid in portions until the level is between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick for the appropriate temperature range. If the fluid is dark in color or emits a burnt odor, it should be replaced.
