Removal
1. Raise the window glass completely and remove the interior door handles, trim panel and polymer sealing film.
2. Loosen the nuts securing the handle to the outer door panel. Remove the handle, simultaneously removing the adjusting nut from the lock mechanism.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
1. Check the condition of the outer door handle seal. Replace the seal if necessary.
2. If necessary, replace the actuator rod retainer.
3. Adjust the position of the nut of the actuator rod of the outer handle, achieving a gap between it and the lock lever of 0.5÷1.5 mm (with the handle released).
4. Before installing the polymer sealing film and door trim panel, check the proper functioning of the lock and window lift mechanisms.
