1. Set the selector lever to position "R".
2. Working under the vehicle, loosen the selector rod locknut. Make sure the selector rod on the transmission is in position "R".
3. Tighten the locknut to the required torque.
4. Inside the car check up a possibility of small movement of the lever of the selector back and forth without pressing the selector button.
5. Move the lever to position I and check that the lever moves smoothly and that the position indicator is correct.
6. Carry out a road test of the car, checking the correct functioning of the transmission.
7. Check up serviceability of functioning of the gauge-switch of permission to start.
