Installing the drive belt (Nissan Qashqai J10)

1. Install the belts in the reverse order of removal.

Attention.

• The belt must fit correctly into the pulley grooves.
• Do not allow engine oil or coolant to come into contact with the belt or pulley grooves.

2. Adjust the belt tension.

3. Tighten the idler pulley lock nut to a torque of 34.8 Nm.

4. Make sure that the drive belt tension corresponds to the nominal value.
