Removal
1. Remove the drive belt (see section above).
Note: Do not remove the locking pin after the drive belt has been removed.
2. Remove the front right fender liner.
3. Support the underside of the engine with a transmission jack, then remove the mounting stands and the right engine mounting insulator.
4. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the automatic drive belt tensioner.
Note: To loosen the mounting bolt, lift the front of the engine with a jack. Use a TORX socket (size T50).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: When installing the automatic tensioner, make sure that it does not touch the water pump pulley.
