Article
1. Securely install the wrench on the hex part (A) automatic tensioner (1), then turn the key in the direction of the arrow in the figure (tensioner release direction).
Attention. Keep your hands away from the area in front of the key, as if the key comes off, it may cause injury.
2. Insert a rod with a diameter of about 6 mm or a short screwdriver into the hole (IN) for fixing the automatic drive belt tensioner.
Note. Do not remove the locking pin after the drive belt has been removed.
3. Remove the drive belt.
Installation
1. Install drive belt.
Note.
- Make sure the drive belt is securely on the pulleys.
- Make sure that engine oil, coolant and other operating materials do not get on the surfaces of the belt or pulleys.
2. Unlock the automatic tensioner and tension the drive belt.
3. Turn the crankshaft pulley clockwise several times to equalize the belt tension between the pulleys.
4. Make sure the indicator (notch on the fixed side) drive belt automatic tensioner is within the allowable operating range.
