Removal
1. Remove the rear propeller shaft.
2. Remove the rear drive shafts.
3. Disconnect the all-wheel drive solenoid wire connector.
4. Remove the rear final drive breather rod and the electrically controlled clutch breather hose.
5. Support the final drive assembly with a suitable jack.
6. Loosen the nuts and bolts securing the final drive. If necessary, remove the final drive mounting bracket.
Caution: When removing, secure the final drive assembly to a suitable jack.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
Caution: Ensure that there are no pinched or compressed areas of the breather hoses due to kinks or twists during installation.
Install the rear final drive breather hose (1) onto the breather connector (2). Install the bracket (3) onto the breather nipple. Make sure that the color mark (A) of the metal connector (4) faces the front of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

Note: The white arrows in the illustration indicate the front of the vehicle.
Install the breather hose of the electrically controlled clutch (1) onto the metal pipe until it stops at the edge shown in the figure by the black arrow. Make sure that the coupling cover (2) of the metal pipe (3) is directed towards the front of the vehicle, as shown in the figure.

Note: The white arrows in the illustration indicate the front of the vehicle.
