Disassembly
The sunroof block is disassembled after it is removed from the vehicle. However, the glass cover, deflector and motor can be removed and installed on the vehicle.
Glass lid
Withdrawal
1. Remove mounting clips, remove side trim.
2. Check the number of shims between the glass cover and lever assembly, unscrew the fixing nuts and remove the glass cover.
Installation
Tighten the glass cover nuts crosswise.
After installation, adjust the position.
Sunscreen
Attention: The screen is removed from the sunroof unit removed from the vehicle.
Preparatory work
Remove the glass cover.
Remove the headlining.
Remove the sunroof assembly.
Removal and installation
Move the levers to the fully open position.
Remove the two stoppers from the back of the sunroof.
Remove the screen from the back of the sunroof.
Deflector - removal and installation
Move the levers to the fully open position.
Unscrew the fixing screws of the right and left deflector holders. Remove the slider latches from the holes, remove the deflector holders.
Unscrew the fixing screws of the deflector from the front edge of the hatch block, remove the latches from the frame holes, remove the deflector from the frame.
Sunroof motor assembly
Preparatory work
Remove the ceiling trim.
Withdrawal
1. Loosen the fixing screws.
2. Disconnect a socket, remove the hatch electric motor.
Attention:
Remove the motor with the sunroof in the fully closed position.
After removing the motor, do not turn it on.
Installation
Before installing the electric motor, arrange the levers and cable symmetrically so that the motor gear is fully engaged with the cable. To do this, gradually tighten the cable from the left and right sides, set the levers parallel to the mounting surface, then fix the motor with screws.
Examination
If there is not enough grease in the groove of the guide bars and on the cable, apply Nissan MP No. 2 special grease.
