Warping of the upper surface of the cylinder block (Nissan Serena C24)

Using a scraper, remove any remaining old gasket, oil, carbon deposits, etc. from the contact surface of the cylinder block.

Caution: Do not allow sealant residue to enter oil and water passages.

Check the cylinder block contact surface for warpage at several points in 6 different directions.
