Oil in the differential
Replacement interval:
- For individual use of the vehicle: after major repairs.
- For commercial use of the vehicle: every 100,000 km or once every 2 years (in severe operating conditions: every 60,000 km)
Note: When operating in severe conditions (driving on rough terrain, with frequent braking or in mountainous areas, on descents and ascents) the replacement interval by mileage is reduced by 30% or more.
Oil drain
1. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the differential.

Note: Oil drains more easily if you first remove the filler plug.
2. Screw the drain plug into the final drive and tighten to the required torque.
Caution: Do not reuse the drain plug gasket.
Oil filling
1. Remove the plug from the filler hole and fill with fresh oil.
- Differential Oil: Nissan Differential Gear Oil GL-5 80W-90
- Filling capacity: approx. 1.0 l
2. Screw the filler plug into the final drive and tighten to the required torque.
Caution: Do not reuse the filler plug gasket.
