Using a manual transmission (MT) (Nissan Micra K12)

The correspondence of gears to the position of the lever is indicated on its handle.



Reverse gear should only be engaged after the vehicle has come to a complete stop. To avoid noise when engaging reverse gear, pause briefly beforehand. For safety reasons, shifting from 5th gear to reverse gear is only possible after neutral gear is engaged and the clutch is engaged.

While driving, do not keep your foot on the clutch pedal all the time, as this may damage the clutch.
