Location of neutral and reverse sensor
1. After installing the sensor, make sure there are no transmission oil leaks.
2. To check the sensor, disconnect its wiring connector and check the conductivity between the sensor contacts.
Note: The pin numbers (1-2-3) are from left to right with the connector latch facing up.
3. There should be conductivity between contacts 1 and 2 when the reverse gear is engaged, and between contacts 2 and 3 when the manual transmission is in neutral. There should be no conductivity in other positions.
